Ben Lomond Vertical Kilometre

The Ben Lomond Vertical Kilometre presents a challenging uphill course that ascends 1200 meters over a distance of 3.9 kilometers, culminating at the summit of Ben Lomond. As New Zealand’s only certified Vertical Kilometre, this event is uniquely positioned in the running calendar, taking place the day before the renowned Shotover Moonlight Marathon.

The course begins near the Ben Lomond Woolshed, adjacent to the picturesque Moke Lake, and leads participants through a rugged, off-track environment.
