Wellington Marathon

The Gazley Volkswagen Wellington Marathon is scheduled for 29 June 2025, taking place in Wellington, New Zealand. This annual event features a variety of races including a Half Marathon, a 10km fun run, and a Kids’ Magic Mile, all commencing at the Sky Stadium Walkway.

The courses for the marathon and half marathon offer flat, out-and-back routes that head south along Waterloo Quay, leading participants through scenic views of the capital’s harbour bays while passing notable landmarks. The full marathon consists of two laps of the half marathon route, with both courses certified to IAAF and AIMS standards. The event is inclusive, welcoming walkers to participate.
