The Secondary School Tough Guy and Gal Challenge features a course designed to test resilience and teamwork among participants. Set in a dynamic environment that includes both natural and constructed obstacles, runners will navigate through water trails, mud slides, and a spider’s web net climb. The course also incorporates elements such as a crawl under barbed wire, a wire rope bridge, and swamp crossings, all set against the backdrop of native bush trails and open paddocks.
This event not only challenges physical stamina but also engages students in a unique educational opportunity, allowing them to earn NCEA Level 2 and Level 3 credits through participation. The atmosphere is vibrant, fostering a sense of camaraderie and school spirit as students from various institutions come together to tackle the demanding course.
