The Wellington Waterfront 5K Fun Run & Walk features a scenic course that encapsulates the coastal charm of the area. The route extends past notable landmarks such as the Te Papa Museum, and continues around the marina, winding around Clyde Quay Wharf before stretching out to Oriental Bay. The turnaround point is just past Carlton Gore Road, after which runners trace their path back to the starting point.
The course is well-marshaled at key points including the Clyde Quay Wharf turn and the northern traffic turnaround, ensuring a safe and smooth experience for all participants.
