
The Challenge Wānaka Multisport event offers participants an opportunity to engage in a unique off-road experience amid the rugged landscapes of Wānaka. Following the kayaking, competitors navigate a variety of mountain biking trails that showcase the region’s diverse terrain, ranging from scenic vistas to challenging paths. Participants can choose to enter as individuals or form teams of two or three for the multisport challenge. An alternative Duathlon option is available for those who prefer to skip the kayaking segment, allowing solo entrants or two-person teams to engage in mountain biking and trail running. This event fosters a community spirit, as local supporters often gather to cheer on competitors, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
