Tauranga, Sulphur Point
The race
The event is recognized as the largest fun run/walk in the Bay of Plenty, attracting a diverse group of participants each year. Due to recent access restrictions at Mauao, this year’s courses have been adjusted while maintaining the finish line on the beach, providing a scenic and festive atmosphere.
The Half Marathon and 5km events will follow revised routes designed to preserve the original distances, while the traditional 11km City to Surf has been shortened to 8.5km for this year. Participants can expect a vibrant community atmosphere, with local supporters likely to line the route, enhancing the overall experience.
For specific details on the updated courses, including maps and descriptions, participants are encouraged to consult the event website.
