North Shore Marathon

The North Shore Marathon course offers a scenic loop that begins at Milford Reserve, incorporating the picturesque views of Takapuna, Narrow Neck, and Cheltenham Beaches. The route extends to include the DOC Tunnels Loop around Maungauika/Historic North Head, notable for its panoramic vistas of Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf, including a view towards Rangitoto Island. Although named the “Tunnels Loop,” the course does not involve actual tunnel running, making it accessible and visually engaging without the complexity of enclosed spaces.
