Northburn 100

The Northburn Station annual mountain runs are scheduled for 22 to 23 March 2025 in Cromwell, Central Otago. The course is distinguished by its challenging terrain, characterized by dry, hard, rocky conditions. Runners traverse high country 4WD tracks, with brief sections following fence lines and sheep tracks.

In addition to ultra marathon races, the event offers a variety of other running events, including a children’s race. Detailed course information and maps can be found on the event’s official website.

The event is managed by Tom Pinckney, the owner of Northburn Station, and Terry Davis, a race director with extensive experience in organizing and participating in 24-hour endurance events.

The race schedule is as follows:
Saturday: Marathon, SkyRun, and ultra marathons.
Sunday: Children’s race, night races, and a half marathon.
