Rotorua Off Road Trail Run/Walk

The Rotorua Off Road Trail Run/Walk occurs annually on 9 March 2025 in the breathtaking Whakarewarewa Forest. The event offers multiple race options, each with its unique course features.

The Novotel event involves a two-lap course, presenting a combination of smooth gravel forest roads and picturesque forest trails. On the other hand, the Mitre 10 Mega race incorporates a single lap of the spectacular Novotel course. The Red Stag race also navigates the scenic forest trails in the Whakarewarewa Forest.

There are also fun run/walk options available for children. The first is designed for children aged 3 to 6 years and the second for children aged 7 to 10 years. These non-competitive, supervised races take place before the commencement of the adult events.

The Lake City Athletic Club Inc. collaboratively organises the event with Event Promotions. This array of events caters to various age groups and running preferences, all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Whakarewarewa Forest.
