Waipa Fun Run and Walk

The Waipa Fun Run and Walk features a variety of race options, catering to different age groups and competitive levels. Participants can choose from individual runs or walks through the picturesque, tree-lined streets of Cambridge, or engage in a more competitive spirit through the Teams Challenge. In this challenge, groups such as coworkers, friends, or family members can form teams where the combined finish times of the fastest three participants determine the winning team. This event is not only a test of endurance but also emphasizes community spirit and teamwork.

Additionally, there is a special 2km Schools Challenge designed specifically for younger participants, which encourages school involvement and promotes fitness among students. The event is organized by St Peter’s Catholic School, highlighting its commitment to community engagement and physical education.
