Amuri Ranges Run

The Amuri Ranges Run is scheduled for 30 March 2025 in Waiau, North Canterbury. The event includes a trail run that traverses through the scenic landscapes of the region.

The longest trail winds through farmland and rugged hills with remote farm tracks. It offers a blend of challenging climbs, technical descents, and flowing sections. The course is designed to test endurance with an elevation gain of approximately 1300m.

A slightly shorter trail takes runners across farmland and rolling hills. This route includes rugged gravel farm tracks and hilly ranges, offering breathtaking rural views. The course involves an elevation gain of around 500m.

The shortest trail offers a speedy challenge with rugged farm tracks and open pastures, featuring an elevation gain of approximately 200m.

In addition to the adult races, the event includes an obstacle race for children in Years 1-6.

This event serves as a PTA Fundraiser for the Amuri Area School.
