Beach To Basin Fun Run
The Chilltech Beach 2 Basin Fun Run will be held in Whangarei on 2 March 2025. This event is a part of the yearly Sport Northland Run/Walk Series. The Beach 2 Basin originated from Athletics Whangarei in 1978, beginning with just a handful of competitors. Over the years, it has grown in popularity, now attracting more than 2000 participants annually.
Participants have the flexibility to run, walk briskly, stroll casually, or even push a pram on the course. There’s also a separate event designed for children.
The Sport Northland Run/Walk Series includes other events, with the next one being the Parihaka Trail Run/Walk, scheduled for 23 March 2025.
