About this course
Set against the backdrop of Barge Showgrounds, this last person standing event challenges participants to run a loop of 6.71km every hour until only one remains. The course features a diverse terrain that includes well-maintained fields, single-track trails, gravel roads, and sections of tar seal, offering an engaging experience for runners.
As the loop ascends to its highest point, participants can enjoy expansive views over the surrounding countryside, particularly from the areas adjacent to sheep farm paddocks. The total elevation gain of approximately 100 meters adds an extra layer of challenge to the event.
The atmosphere over the King’s Birthday Weekend is enhanced by a vibrant tent city where runners and supporters can enjoy music, food, and various entertainment options.
