Challenge Kuriwao

The Challenge Kuriwao is a trail running event scheduled for 22 February 2025 in Clinton, South Otago. The event features courses that traverse variable farmland terrain, which includes some steep sections and unformed tracks, providing participants with scenic views of the surrounding landscape.

In addition to the individual running options, the marathon distance can be completed as a team relay, accommodating teams of 4 to 12 members. The course design emphasizes the natural topography of the region, allowing runners to experience the unique features of South Otago’s countryside.

Competitors will find aid stations along the route; however, participants are responsible for carrying their own hydration and nutrition supplies. The event also incorporates mountain biking options, offering a diverse experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
