Christchurch Marathon

• Course Features: The event features a flat and fast route that is primarily contained within the scenic Hagley Park. The course extends into the central city, incorporating views of Christ’s College, Canterbury Museum, Cambridge Terrace, Oxford Terrace, and the Avon River, enhancing its scenic appeal.

• Route Details: The course is structured as a 10.5km lap. Participants will complete varying numbers of laps depending on the race they are entered in. The start and finish lines are conveniently located beside the Armagh Street gates of Hagley Park.

• Certification: The Full and Half Marathon are officially certified according to IAAF & AIMS standards, ensuring that the distances meet international competitive racing criteria.

• Children’s Races: Additionally, there are specific races designed for children, which take place on a safe and scenic course within the confines of Hagley Park.
