The race
The event features a unique format, allowing participants to complete 2km loops at their own pace, with the flexibility to start, stop, and rest as needed. There are no strict cut-off times, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all entrants.
Catering is provided continuously throughout the event, ensuring that runners have access to nourishment around the clock.
A variety of challenges are available, including longer options spanning multiple days and shorter timed events. Team participation is encouraged in the 3, 6, and 24-hour events, with only one team member required on the course at any time, allowing for frequent exchanges among teammates.
The course itself is noted for its flat, concrete paths, winding through shaded woodlands, alongside picturesque lakes, and following the serene Avon River. This scenic backdrop enhances the endurance experience, creating a blend of natural beauty and community spirit throughout the festival.
