Footprints In The Sand
The Foxton Beach Fun Run, also known as Footprints In The Sand, is an annual event scheduled for 2 March 2025. This event is organised by the Foxton Lions Club.
The starting point of the race is the Foxton Beach Surf Club. Participants have the option to choose between different course options. The course options include a run that goes along the beach to Himatangi and another that heads south along the beach before turning up the estuary. All the courses are designed as out-and-back routes with marshals positioned along the way.
