The Geraldine Adventure Race offers participants a unique experience traversing through the diverse landscapes surrounding Geraldine. The course covers rolling farmland and native bush, providing picturesque views across the Canterbury Plains. Participants have the choice between a 3-hour and a 6-hour course, both featuring a combination of mountain biking, trekking, and navigation. These courses are interspersed with mystery challenges that add an element of unpredictability and fun. The 3-hour version is tailored for families and those new to adventure racing, incorporating manageable segments of off-road jogging or walking and mountain biking on 4WD tracks.
