Gizzy Laser Half Marathon

The Gizzy Laser Half Marathon is scheduled for 10 November 2024, taking place at Matawhero Winery in Gisborne. This event features a course that follows the stop bank track alongside the Waipaoa River, offering a flat and fast terrain that is conducive for those aiming for personal bests. The scenic views of the river and surrounding landscape add to the experience for participants.

In addition to running, walkers are welcome to partake, with the option to walk or jog at their own pace, although this is not a competitive walking event. The inclusion of various distances allows for a range of participation levels, making the event accessible to a broader audience.
