The Krayzie Chicks Frontyard Ultra offers a unique twist on the traditional Backyard Ultra format, tailored specifically for women. Set at Kaiapoi Island in Christchurch, the event features a 6km loop designed to create a less intense atmosphere while still providing the challenge of consecutive laps.

Participants must complete each lap within an hour, utilizing any remaining time for recovery and hydration. The event concludes when only one competitor has completed one more lap than the others, adding a strategic element to pacing and stamina management.
