About this course
Set within the McLeans Forest Regional Park, this winter trail event offers participants a chance to experience scenic forest trails that cater to various skill levels. The courses feature a single loop design, allowing runners to explore parts of the forest that are typically off-limits to the public.
The terrain includes a combination of established walking tracks, gravel paths, and mixed-use walking and cycling tracks. Notably, both the Half Marathon and 10km courses incorporate a 1.6km section on a grassed track, adding to the diversity of the running experience.
The atmosphere is welcoming, fostering community involvement and support throughout the event. Runners can expect a friendly vibe as they navigate the trails amidst the natural beauty of the forest.
