The Molloy Agriculture Methven Adventure Race is centered at Pudding Hill Lodge and ventures into the scenic expanses of Mount Alford Station. Participants can choose between a 3-hour or 6-hour foot rogaine, designed to cater to varying levels of experience and fitness. The shorter rogaine is particularly family-friendly, making it an ideal choice for those new to adventure racing. Conversely, the 6-hour option demands greater fitness and some proficiency in navigation, offering a more challenging experience.
Additionally, the race includes shorter dash races of 2km and 5km, which loop around the farm. These races are accessible to runners of all ages and abilities, providing a less demanding but equally enjoyable option for participants.
The event not only offers diverse challenges across stunning rural landscapes but also serves a communal purpose by raising funds for the Methven Community Pool. This integration of community support with outdoor sports highlights the event’s dual focus on health and local welfare.
