Raetihi Gutbuster

The Raetihi Gutbuster features courses that traverse the scenic Raetihi-Pipiriki Road, nestled between the Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks. This area, rich in history and natural beauty, provides a backdrop that enhances the running experience with its diverse landscapes.

Participants start and finish at the Waimarino Museum in Raetihi. The routes for the running events are designed as out-and-back courses, ensuring runners can absorb the serene environment from multiple perspectives. The half marathon distance challenges participants with its extended route along the Raetihi-Pipiriki Road, while the 5km event offers a more compact street circuit, ideal for families and less experienced runners.
