Ridge Runner Coromandel

The Ridge Runner Coromandel is scheduled for 16 November 2024, taking place on privately owned land that offers expansive 360-degree views of the coastline. This trail run features a clockwise course that begins in a valley, ascends to the central Coromandel ridgeline, and descends back to the valley floor. Participants will experience a total elevation gain of 870 meters, complemented by an equal descent, while traversing a mix of farm tracks and single trails.

In addition to the main event, a shorter course option is available for those seeking a less demanding experience. The event accommodates both runners and walkers, with a time limit of seven hours to complete the course.

Post-race amenities include gourmet burgers for participants, the option for overnight camping, and an after-party featuring a bonfire and marshmallow roasting. This community-oriented event aims to foster a friendly atmosphere while showcasing the natural beauty of the Coromandel region.
