About this course
The Sri Chinmoy Christmas Dash will take place on 1 December 2024 at South Hagley Park in Christchurch. This event features a flat loop course that has been modified for this year due to recent path resurfacing in the park. Participants in the main event will complete three laps of the park, while the children’s race consists of a single lap.
A unique aspect of this race is the involvement of Santa, who will warm up with the children before they begin their run. The event provides a festive atmosphere suitable for families, promoting community engagement through physical activity.
Details regarding post-race amenities or activities have not been specified, but participants can expect a well-organized event led by Sri Chinmoy Christchurch. This race provides an opportunity for runners of all ages to celebrate the holiday season in an outdoor setting.
