The River Run is scheduled for 4 March 2025 and will commence from the Marina Carpark in Gisborne. The starting point is situated outside the Lawson Field Rose Room. The course features a safe and scenic route around the rivers, eliminating the need to cross any roads.

The River Run is organized by the Gisborne Harriers Club. The next event in the series is set to occur on 11 March 2025, following its previous event on 25 February 2025.
