About this course
The Wander Women Adventure Race features teams of 2 or 4 navigating a course using a map and clue sheet to collect checkpoints and engage in unique mystery activities. The event emphasizes teamwork and strategy, with participants competing for the most points within a set time.
The course offers two options: a short and a medium route. The short course is tailored for beginners, featuring straightforward navigation and non-technical mountain biking, making it accessible to a wide range of fitness levels. Entrants can expect to walk or jog approximately 5-7 kilometers off-road, followed by a 10-15 kilometer mountain bike ride. Most teams complete this course within 2 to 6 hours.
The medium course presents a slightly greater challenge, with tougher terrain while still being beginner-friendly. Participants will navigate approximately 10-15 kilometers off-road and bike around 25 kilometers on forestry roads and farmland. Teams typically finish this course within 5 to 9 hours.
This event is organized by women for women, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages both newcomers and seasoned adventure racers to participate and build community connections.
