• The Ben Lomond Vertical Kilometre features a challenging uphill climb to the summit of Ben Lomond, starting near the Ben Lomond Woolshed by scenic Moke Lake.
• This event is unique as New Zealand’s only certified Vertical Kilometre, offering a rigorous off-track course that demands good footwork, balance, and strength. The use of poles is permitted to aid runners.
• Participants will need to plan for a descent from the summit post-race, with the official descent route to be confirmed closer to the event date.
