The race
About this course
This trail run features breathtaking views of the coastline along the Godley Head track. The course begins at Taylors Mistake beach, meandering around the peninsula through Boulder Bay and past historic huts and gun emplacements, culminating at the top of Godley Head. Runners then transition onto a grassed farm track before rejoining the Godley Head pathway for the return to the start/finish line.
The undulating terrain presents a balance of challenge and accessibility, catering to both experienced and novice runners.
Additionally, there is a Kids’ Dash for children under 13 years, offering a short course of approximately 700 to 1200 meters around the prize-giving area, encouraging young participants to engage in the community atmosphere.
