Boulder Bay Classic Trail Run

The Boulder Bay Classic features a scenic 10km trail run that showcases the coastal beauty of the Godley Head track. Starting from Taylors Mistake beach, the course encompasses a variety of terrains, making its way along the peninsula through Boulder Bay and past significant historical sites including old huts and gun emplacements. Participants then ascend to the summit of Godley Head, taking in expansive views before transitioning onto a pastoral farm track. The route circles back via the same path to the starting point, offering a loop that is both visually engaging and physically stimulating.

The terrain is characterized by a mix of technical trail surfaces and softer grass paths, presenting a diverse challenge suitable for both seasoned runners and those new to trail running. This event also includes a shorter, accessible Kids’ Dash designed for children under 13, which takes place near the main event’s prize-giving area.
