Emerson’s Dunedin Marathon

The Emerson’s Dunedin Marathon features a route that starts at the picturesque Portobello Recreation Reserve, offering participants expansive views as they run around the stunning Otago Harbour. The full marathon is AIMS certified, allowing runners to use their results as qualifiers for major international marathons.

For other race distances, the starting point is inside the Caledonian Grounds, with all events concluding in front of Emerson’s Brewery. This choice of finish line location not only provides a vibrant atmosphere but also showcases local industry.
