The race
This event features an all-women team format where groups of three navigate through the diverse landscapes of the South Island. Participants will engage in activities such as rafting, mountain biking, and hiking, relying on map and compass skills to guide their journey.
The course is designed to celebrate teamwork and adventure, with routes that showcase the stunning natural scenery of Dunedin and its surroundings. The atmosphere emphasizes exploration and camaraderie, allowing participants to connect with both the environment and each other.
With three main categories offering varying durations, the event caters to a wide range of experience levels, from beginners to advanced adventurers. This format encourages participation and fosters a supportive community spirit among competitors.
As a sister event to the Summer Challenge, this race continues a tradition of promoting outdoor activity and engagement among women in the region.
