Hutt River Trail

The event takes place at Awakairangi Park in Upper Hutt, featuring a course that runs alongside the Hutt River. Participants will navigate through a blend of native bush and open parkland, which offers an opportunity to observe local birdlife. The route includes small bridges and transitions between shaded forested areas and expansive landscapes, all set against a backdrop of surrounding hills. The course is predominantly flat, comprising 50% well-formed bush trail and 50% pathway, making it accessible for a wide range of participants. The atmosphere is community-oriented, as part of the larger Aramex Kiwi Walk & Run Series, which fosters a spirit of inclusiveness and enjoyment among walkers and runners alike.
