About this course
The Kinloch Off Road Challenge features a variety of trail courses that navigate the renowned trail network surrounding Kinloch. Each route presents unique experiences, catering to different levels of runners.
Participants in the Marathon will traverse scenic paths along Kawakawa Bay, while the Half Marathon includes a loop around the headland, offering picturesque vistas of the region. Shorter distances, such as the 10km and 5km, follow the Whangamata Stream, allowing runners to enjoy a blend of natural beauty and well-maintained trails.
This event promotes sustainability by being a cup-free race, encouraging participants to bring their own cups or water bottles for refilling at aid stations. The atmosphere is enhanced by community involvement, contributing to a supportive and engaging environment for all runners.
