The Ledlenser Puketapu Night Run offers a unique opportunity to explore the scenic Hawke’s Bay Trails after dark. Participants can choose from a full loop or shorter routes, with options for both individuals and teams. The 17km loop can be tackled solo or as a relay, allowing teams of three to share the challenge across three segments.
For those preferring a shorter distance, the 12km route winds from Springfield Road to Puketapu School, incorporating picturesque views along Lennox Park. The 6.25km fun run, starting at Lennox Park and finishing at Puketapu School, is designed for participants seeking a lighter experience.
The event fosters community engagement, with proceeds benefiting Puketapu School, and creates a vibrant atmosphere filled with local support. As the evening unfolds, the trails come alive with the energy of runners, making for a memorable experience amidst the natural beauty of Hawke’s Bay.
