About this course
Participants will enjoy a scenic run or walk along the pristine sands of Ōrewa Beach, with the course set entirely on the beach at low tide. This allows for an uninterrupted experience, free from roads and footpaths, while offering fresh sea air and picturesque views of the coastline.
The event is hosted by the Ōrewa Surf Lifesaving Club, which adds a community-oriented atmosphere to the occasion. Local involvement is evident, as proceeds support the development of a new Fitness Centre at Ōrewa College, fostering a sense of purpose and connection within the community. The relaxed and inclusive environment encourages participation from all skill levels, making it an ideal event for families and individuals alike.
