Orewa Beach Fun Run

The Orewa Beach Fun Run offers participants a unique running experience on the expansive sands of Orewa Beach, with the course timed to coincide with low tide to provide firm, flat conditions underfoot. This beach setting not only enhances the scenic enjoyment but also challenges runners with a different terrain, all accompanied by a refreshing sea breeze.

Originating from the Orewa Surf Lifesaving Club, the event is deeply community-focused, contributing all proceeds to support the local Orewa College’s new Fitness Centre. This community involvement and the picturesque coastal route make the event a meaningful and enjoyable occasion for participants and spectators alike.
