
The course begins near the visitor centre carpark, offering a scenic start before heading along the Orokonui fence line. Participants will traverse diverse terrain, including compacted gravel, grass, beach, asphalt, and coarse gravel, culminating in a climb through the sanctuary’s protected forest. This varied landscape presents a total elevation change of approximately 600 meters.
