Peak Trail Blazer

The Gourmeats Peak Trail Blazer features two distinctive courses, each offering a different experience of the natural beauty surrounding Havelock North. Participants can choose a challenging ascent to the summit of Te Mata Peak, covering a distance of 12.8 kilometers, or opt for a gentler 3.5-kilometer trail through the picturesque Tainui Reserve. This event accommodates a wide range of participants, from competitive runners to casual walkers, and includes categories for individuals, teams, corporate groups, and schools, making it inclusive for all ages and fitness levels.

The event’s atmosphere is community-focused, with all proceeds directly supporting local causes such as Havelock North Primary School and the Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust.
