Pigs Backyard Ultra

– Pigs Backyard Ultra features a unique ‘last one standing’ format where competitors run a loop course on the hour, every hour. This continues until only one runner is able to complete a loop within the hour.

Course Details:
– The loop includes a trail that passes beside a water race, features some muddy patches, several stream crossings, extensive native New Zealand bush, and potential sightings of wild pigs.

Race Format:
– Participants continue to run loops with no preset distance or time limit, competing to be the last one able to complete a loop within the hour.
