Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon: Auckland (South)

The event returns to Mountfort Park, offering an engaging environment for young participants aged 6 to 15 to embrace physical activity through a fun and supportive format.

The event starts with the swim segment in the indoor pool at the Manurewa Pool & Leisure Centre, providing a safe and comfortable setting for young swimmers. Following the swim, participants transition to the field behind the pool for the biking portion, which takes place on the surrounding streets, ensuring a traffic-managed experience. The run segment is situated around Mountfort Park, allowing participants to enjoy the greenery and open space.

Participants have the option to compete individually or as part of a two-person team, where one member completes the swim and the other the bike, while both team members finish with the run. This flexibility accommodates various skill levels and encourages teamwork.

For the youngest entrants, a ‘Splash n Dash’ aquathon is available, allowing 6-year-olds to participate in a simplified format that includes a swim and run. The atmosphere is family-friendly, fostering community involvement and promoting an active lifestyle among Kiwi kids.
