Seasonal Scamper

The Seasonal Scamper offers a unique 3km path through the scenic forest and river tracks of Kaiapoi Island. Participants often enhance the festive atmosphere by dressing in seasonal attire, which adds a playful and colorful aspect to the event. In keeping with the community spirit, attendees are encouraged to bring an item for the RSPCA, integrating a charitable component into the race day experience.

Post-race activities include costume spot prizes, promoting interaction and continued enjoyment among participants. Attendees are also invited to stay for a picnic, fostering a sense of community, although they should note that lunch is not provided.

This event emphasizes health and safety with a strict no-smoking and no-alcohol policy. Additionally, it is dog-friendly, provided pets are kept on a leash, ensuring the event is accessible to families and pet owners alike.
