About this course
This team-based adventure race supports the local high school’s adventure racing team and features a variety of course lengths to accommodate different skill levels. Participants can form teams of 2 to 4 and choose from three categories based on duration.
The 4-hour course offers a straightforward navigation experience, combining foot travel and mountain biking across varying terrain. Teams will engage in basic navigation to complete the course within the timeframe.
The 8-hour event caters to those with a moderate fitness level and some navigation skills. Participants can expect a mix of running and biking, with the possibility of incorporating a water element, requiring a bit more endurance and tactical planning.
For experienced racers, the 12-hour challenge includes complex navigation and may involve packrafting and other watercraft stages. This course demands a high level of fitness and technical skill, as it features sections of mountain biking that could require participants to dismount. The course is designed for those seeking a significant physical and mental challenge, with completion times ranging considerably.
Community support is evident throughout the event, fostering a lively atmosphere and encouraging participation from various local groups.
