The race
About this course
This event features a precisely measured flat out-and-back course along the Wellington waterfront, beginning at Freyberg Pool in Oriental Bay. Participants can choose between two distances, with both routes heading south. The 10km course turns at the wind needle, while the 5km course has an earlier turnaround point.
Organised by WHAC, the event fosters a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging both competitive runners and casual participants. The monthly occurrence allows for a consistent community gathering, making it a regular fixture in the local running calendar.
For updates and additional information, the event’s Facebook page serves as a resource for participants.
