The race
About this course
This monthly running event features accurately measured 5km and 10km courses along the scenic Wellington waterfront. Starting at Freyberg Pool in Oriental Bay, participants enjoy a flat out-and-back route. The 10km course extends further south, with a turnaround point at the wind needle, while the 5km course turns back at an earlier marker.
Organised by the Wellington Harrier Athletic Club, the event fosters a friendly atmosphere, making it suitable for runners of all levels.
