About this course
The Timaru Ten features a flat and fast course designed for optimal running conditions, set at Levels Raceway. The Bluestone 10km Run, known for its certification as New Zealand’s fastest 10K course, offers an ideal opportunity for participants aiming for personal bests, thanks to its level terrain and minimal wind interference. The course layout includes one small lap followed by four laps of 2.3 km each, providing a clear path for runners.
In addition to the competitive 10km event, there is a 5km fun run, catering to those looking for a shorter challenge, and a Kids’ mile specifically for primary school-aged children, fostering early engagement in running. The atmosphere is typically vibrant, with community participation enhancing the overall experience, making it a family-friendly event that promotes health and fitness among all ages.
