The race
The Super Triathlon features both long and short course options, along with a dedicated event for children. This event is part of a broader series that includes various multisport formats such as duathlons and aquathlons, typically held on Monday evenings throughout the spring and summer months.
The courses are designed to accommodate a range of skill levels, encouraging participation from newcomers and seasoned athletes alike. The atmosphere is generally welcoming and community-oriented, fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants.
Logistically, the events are structured to allow individuals to compete in two races before requiring membership, making it accessible for those looking to try out the sport. The scenic Taupo region serves as a picturesque backdrop, enhancing the overall experience for participants and spectators.
