About this course
Set within the serene environment of Waipu Caves Farm Park, this running challenge features a unique 1km circuit that tests participants’ endurance and speed. The course includes a steep ascent with a notable 90m elevation gain over 400m, culminating in a challenging incline where the last 50m reaches approximately 60 degrees. Runners descend via a farm track that stretches 650m back to the start/finish area.
Participants can choose between two formats: a 2-hour challenge that allows for as many laps as possible within the time limit, or an Elimination Time Limit format, where lap times must decrease progressively.
