About this course
This event features a unique format where participants form teams of two to five and choose from a variety of checkpoints to visit within the designated time frame. Each checkpoint carries different point values, encouraging teams to devise a strategic approach to maximize their score.
With options for both a 1-hour and a 2-hour experience, the event accommodates a wide range of abilities, making it accessible to both seasoned participants and those new to the sport. A moderate level of fitness is sufficient, and advanced navigation skills are not mandatory, allowing for a more relaxed atmosphere.
Families can also engage in the Kids Fun Event, fostering community involvement and encouraging younger participants to experience the joy of outdoor adventure. The event’s evening setting adds a distinctive charm, with the winter landscape of Christchurch providing a scenic backdrop for the rogaine experience.
