The Coast to Coast Mountain Run is an integral part of the annual Coast to Coast multi-sport event, taking place on 12 February 2027. Participants will begin their race at Aickens Corner, coinciding with the arrival of the first cyclist from the two-day event.
The course spans 30.5 kilometers through stunning alpine terrain, featuring the challenging Goat Pass. Runners will navigate varied landscapes, including rugged trails and breathtaking views, culminating at Klondyke Corner in the scenic Arthurs Pass National Park. This setting not only highlights the natural beauty of New Zealand but also offers a sense of community as spectators and fellow competitors provide support along the route.
Entry into the Mountain Run is conducted through a ballot process, reflecting the event’s popularity and competitive nature.
