Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon: Christchurch

This event takes place at Halswell Domain, featuring a vibrant atmosphere that encourages youth participation and promotes active lifestyles among children aged 6 to 15.

The event kicks off with a swim segment in the outdoor pool at the Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre, providing a safe and engaging environment for young athletes. Following the swim, participants transition to the South-Eastern cricket pitch for the bike leg, where they navigate the surrounding streets, allowing for a mix of community interaction and local scenery. The run portion takes place within the confines of Halswell Domain, offering a scenic backdrop for participants as they complete their race.

The format allows for individual participation or team entries, where two members can split the swim and bike segments, fostering teamwork and camaraderie among participants. Additionally, there is a ‘Splash n Dash’ aquathon event specifically designed for the youngest participants, ensuring that children as young as six can join in on the fun and experience the thrill of competition.
