The Good Union Summer Series is a weekly run/walk event occurring from February to April. It is organized by the Cambridge Harriers & Athletic Club and takes place on an off-road course that meanders around Lake Te Koutu.

Participants can choose between a 5km course for runners and a shorter 2.5km distance for children. The event has a community-focused atmosphere, with walkers starting at 6pm and runners following shortly after at 6:10pm. Entry is facilitated through a gold coin donation, making it accessible to a broad range of participants.
